A European competition contest worth 22,000 euros, dedicated to the best Italian and European graduates and near-graduates.
This is the Angelo Affinita Prize, presented to the students of the University of Naples Federico II on July the 7, in the presence of Professor Pietro Salatino, headmaster of the Polytechnic School and of the Basic Sciences, and Professor Massimo Viscardi, Researcher of the Industrial Engineering Department – Both of Federico II.
An important opportunity that has enabled us to meet in person with attentive and enthusiastic students. Very determined and competent people, who have asked us a lot of very interesting questions about the competition and the company.
Betting on young people is a crucial step for a small reality like SAPA that wants to compete – like David against Goliath – against the multinational giants of the automotive plastics industry.
Research and development are the pillars of our continuous improvement and the young talents of the best Italian and European universities are resources to exploit at best.
Hence the birth of the Angelo Affinita Prize, which is attracting much interest in academic environments, both by rectors and professors, and by the students.
Some interesting numbers of the competition are:
- 7 European countries involved
- 70 of the most prestigious universities in Europe
- 220,000 the total amount of students to whom the prize is addressed
- 2,500 professors and rectors involved
- 200 professors who joined the call to action
- 30,000 views of the video in Facebook
