Benevento Calcio is the only team in the history of Italian football that has been able to move from Serie B to Serie A already in its championship debut in cadet series.
In fact, in the 2015/16 season it has moved from Lega Pro to Serie B and, in the 2016/17 season, it immediately hit the Serie A target.
A historic achievement that led Benevento on giants’ shoulders, challenging all the biggest Italian teams.
The climb of Benevento Calcio is made of great sacrifices. It begun with great patience and cultivated day after day, sweating during workouts and giving everything on the field.
Usually we talk of a “beautiful fairy tale”, but it is not. Fairy tales are often unreal, made of impalpable and unattainable worlds.
Through hard work, team ethics and a great ambition Benevento Calcio has become a reality.
A beautiful story, which also reminds us of ours.
The story of a small David in a world populated by Goliaths – the great multinational giants – which tries to rise up until climbing on giants’ shoulders with the agility and intelligence of patented solutions.
In addition, Benevento Calcio is a story of the Benevento territory, to which SAPA is indissolubly bound and to whom it has always given a lot of attention (as evidenced by Antonio Affinita’s appointment as Vice-President of Confidustria in Benevento).
For this reason SAPA has decided to be the sponsor of Benevento Calcio for the Serie A TIM 2017/18.
As a concrete sign of support to the territory and to a sport enterprise that will remain forever in the annals of football. Because it’s really possible to get up on giants’ shoulders.
